The Richard Onslow Pops-Up as Sponsor at the Cranleigh Show
9th July 2014: The Richard Onslow in Cranleigh has announced its sponsorship of the Cranleigh Show taking place on Saturday 2nd August 2014, as it becomes official partner for drinks and accommodation at the event.
The popular Cranleigh watering-hole will be staging a pop-up pub at the showground, recreating the look and feel of the pub and the same great atmosphere from the village local. Friendly faces people will know from the pub, including John Taylor, the owner, Stewart Cumming the deputy manager and their team from behind the bar will be there to give everyone a warm welcome and ensure they have a great time at the pop-up pub.
The pub has worked with many of its local suppliers to bring a selection of local Surrey ales, craft beers and ciders to the showground bar, including those crafted by the Firebird Brewery in Rudgwick. On the pumps on the day will be Firebird’s Heritage XX bitter and Paleface American Pale Ale as well as ciders, quality wines and soft drinks from the bar.
As a special treat for visitors, the pub is offering visitors to the show the chance to win dinner and an overnight stay in one of The Richard Onslow’s comfortable en suite rooms at a competition on the day. The Richard Onslow is also playing host to the judges of the show, providing accommodation and hospitality before the big day, as part of its support of the event.

Cranleigh Show plays host to some of the best livestock and equine judges in the country and it is vital that they are well looked after during the time they spend with us. The Richard Onslow takes great care of our guests and they arrive at the show happy and refreshed after their stay.”
